Connecting with Family - After a disaster, letting your family and friends know that you are safe and well can bring your loved ones great peace of mind. One way to reconnect is with the American Red Cross's Safe and Well online system, helping people to find each other. It provides disaster survivors a way to Register Yourself as being “Safe and Well” and a vehicle for concerned family and friends to search for loved ones.

Know Your Rights/Protect Yourself - The legal and administrative issues created in the wake of a disaster are numerous: filing/contesting insurance claims, dealing with contractors, replacing legal documents, dealing with landlords etc. For information or assistance, visit Legal Aid of WV or call 866-255-4370
