WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for September 28, 2022 (WV DHHR) – There have been four deaths reported since yesterday's report, with a total of 7,406 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There are currently 1,125 active COVID-19 cases statewide. DHHR has confirmed the deaths of a 56-year old female from Marion County, a 60-year old male from Kanawha County, a 94-year old female from Taylor County, and a 92-year old female from Putnam County.
