WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for September 27, 2022 (WVDHHR) – There have been six deaths reported since yesterday's report, with a total of 7,402 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There are currently 1,233 active COVID-19 cases statewide. DHHR has confirmed the deaths of an 80-year old male from Kanawha County, an 88-year old female from Boone County, an 87-year old male from Boone County, a 75-year old male from Hancock County, a 72-year old male from Kanawha County, and an 85-year old female from Putnam County.
