WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for October 25, 2022 (WV DHHR) - There have been nine deaths reported since yesterday's report, with a total of 7,502 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There are currently 773 active COVID-19 cases statewide.  DHHR has confirmed the deaths of a 36-year old female from Berkeley County, an 81-year old female from Morgan County, an 85-year old male from Fayette County, an 84-year old male from Jefferson County, a 77-year old male from Kanawha County, a 79-year old male from Raleigh County, a 73-year old male from Fayette County, an 89-year old male from Raleigh County, and a 79-year old female from Wetzel County.​
