• Canton, North Carolina Mayor after Biden chat: 'We cannot let our communities be forgotten' (Asheville Citizen Times) – article reports Mayor got a call from President Biden. Mayor said he showed an openness to understanding what is working and what isn't and told him to keep reporting those things. The mayor raised issues including the "good and bad" on the ground with FEMA which he says was quick to respond, sending rescue crews the day after the storm and providing.
