West Virginia Gov. Justice urges state residents to get COVID vaccine as death tolls tops 1918-19 flu mark (The Exponent Telegram) - A distraught governor announced 15 more deaths since the pandemic briefing last Thursday, including a 40-year old. The state's death toll from the virus, of 2,822, now tops the 2,818 West Virginians said to have died from the influenza outbreak of 1918 and 1919.

 

Here’s how West Virginians can apply for FEMA assistance for flooding  (WOWK) - Residents of Cabell, Kanawha, Mingo and Wayne counties who experienced damage from the flooding that occurred in West Virginia between February 27 and March 4 of 2021 should apply for FEMA assistance by July 19, 2021.
