WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for February 2, 2023 (WV DHHR) – There have been 14 deaths reported since yesterday's report, with a total of 7,866 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There are currently 830 active COVID-19 cases statewide.
 

• Baby girl among new West Virginia COVID deaths  (The Parkersburg News and Sentinel). Also see that on  Feb. 1, 2023, WV DHHR confirmed the deaths of a 44-year old male from Kanawha County, a 3-month old female from Kanawha County, and an 84-year old male from Greenbrier County.
