WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for August 19, 2022 (WV DHHR) – There are currently 3,009 active COVID-19 cases statewide. There have been four deaths reported since the last report, with a total of 7,234 deaths attributed to COVID-19.  DHHR has confirmed the deaths of an 82-year old male from Summers County, an 80-year old female from Webster County, a 73-year old female from Monroe County, and an 80-year old female from Grant County.
