Trump administration drops work on stronger building codes for disasters (NPR) –  building codes help build homes that can survive strong winds, seismic shaking and rising floodwaters.  "FEMA is an important partner in making sure our country is resilient in the future," says Chad Berginnis, executive director of the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
