9/11/2018

CHARLESTON, WV – In honor of Patriot Day and remembrance of the Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001, Gov. Jim Justice issued the following statement.
“The events from 9/11 have changed all of us forever,” Gov. Justice said. “Today we honor the memories of all of those that perished on that fateful day. Two West Virginians, Dr. Paul Ambrose of Huntington and Mary Lou Hague of Parkersburg, died during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.”
“We also recognize our first responders that demonstrate every day what bravery really is. What they do is incredible, they are the real superstars,” Gov. Justice added. “Just think about the real courage it takes to run to the fire or an accident and not away from it. We love you all very much and thank you for being there for us in our most dire times of need.”
