Essentials for Disaster Case Management - Feb. 24 & 25

The program, developed by Catholic Charities USA, equips case managers and community responders with the tools they need to help individuals and families recover from disasters.

Participants will take part in interactive sessions covering 10 key areas of disaster case management and will have the chance to earn a national Disaster Case Management Certification upon completion.

Training runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Attendance on both days is required for certification, and registration is limited to 30 participants (3 participants per agency).

Who Should attend?

   - Case Managers who will provide service to disaster victims

    - Supervisors of disaster case managers

     - Long term recovery group representatives 

      - Community members interested in volunteer disaster case management

Note: In the event of inclement weather, the training will e re-scheduled. Notice will be sent by Monday, Feb. 3.
