FEMA Disaster Recovery Assistance Application Deadline Extended through October 17.
Individuals and families in Lewis, Pleasants, Ritchie and Upshur counties affected by the July flooding may be eligible. Residents can apply at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA App, by calling 800-621-3362 or by visiting a Disaster Recovery Center. Recovery centers at the Upshur County Development Authority and the former Summit Center in Weston will remain open through October 17. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
