WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for October 20, 2022 (WV DHHR) - There have been eight deaths reported since the yesterday's report, with a total of 7,487 deaths attributed to COVID-19. there are currently 868 active COVID-19 cases statewide. DHHR has confirmed the deaths of a 100-year old male from Harrison County, an 89-year old female from Kanawha County, a 71-year old male from Mercer County, a 79-year old female from Logan County, a 76-year old male from Berkeley County, a 45-year old male from Lewis County, a 66-year old female from Kanawha County, and a 90-year old female from Berkeley County.
