WV Daily COVID Update & Stats for August 25, 2022 (WV DHHR) – There are currently 2,821 active COVID-19 cases statewide. There have been four deaths reported since yesterday's report on 8/24/2022, with a total of 7,261 deaths attributed to COVID-19.  DHHR has confirmed the deaths of an 81-year old female from Tyler County, a 76-year old female from Greenbrier County, a 94-year old female from Kanawha County, and a 74-year old female from Wayne County.
